The UPLIFT Project, established in 2023, is a multi-country initiative led by LEPRA Society (India) in collaboration with Lepra Bangladesh, GLRA, and Lepra UK., the project aims to develop a standardised and scalable Community-Based Group (CBG) model to support people affected by leprosy and other disabling neglected tropical diseases (NTDs). Through a tri-country research approach, UPLIFT seeks to generates global evidence for integrated, person-centred NTD care, contributing to health system strengthening and improved quality of life for marginalised populations affected by NTDs.
